What is ICOPE Inc?

The aim of the International Council of Psychology Educators (Incorporated NSW, Australia) is to advance psychology education (inlcuding psychological literacy) around the world. 

 

The structure of ICOPE Inc includes a full membership category of psychology educators and an affiliate membership of psychology students.

ICOPE Inc meetings and events

There are regular conferences held across the world.

 

The First ICOPE Conference was held in St. Petersburg, Russia, June 12-15, 2002 and the Chair was Victor Karandashev.

 

The most recent ICOPE Conference was in Mexicali, Mexico, October 27-28, 2023 and was chaired by Alfredo Padilla-López.

 

The ICOPE 2026 Conference will be held in Florence, Italy

ICOPE Inc Publications

Five editions of “Teaching Psychology around the World” have been published between 2007 and 2020.

 

A new series will commence in 2026 under the title Teaching Psychology Globally.
